LP® TechShield® offers several advantages over other radiant barrier sheathing products, starting with the materials and process used to produce it.

Patented Incising TechnologyTechShield sheathing is manufactured with a patented incising process that creates vapor channels for moisture to pass through, releasing moisture nearly as fast as standard roof sheathing (see drying chart below). Most other radiant barrier products can trap moisture from early construction exposures that may lead to deterioration of the substrate and surrounding building systems. TechShield radiant barrier sheathing – now with quick drying “breathable” technology for even faster drying under roof.
